Les autoritats sueques estan investigant els informes d'una ruptura d'un cable submarí al mar Bàltic

S'ha produït una nova ruptura del cable al mar Bàltic davant de Gotland, informa TV4 sueca. Les Forces de Defensa Sueques confirmen que han rebut informació sobre l'assumpte. Els vaixells de l'OTAN estan investigant el culpable

Davant l'amenaça creixent que suposa Rússia, Dinamarca presentarà dimecres un pla per al seu exèrcit, va anunciar dimarts la primera ministra Mette Frederiksen.

Els bombarders B-52H de la Força Aèria dels EUA han arribat a Europa com a part d'un desplegament rutinari, segons la Força Aèria dels EUA. Els bombarders participaran en una sèrie d'exercicis i vols d'entrenament al costat de les forces aèries aliades. "Si decidim caure en la il·lusió que el senyor Trump i el senyor Putin trobaran una solució per a tots nosaltres, i això seria una trampa mortal, o nosaltres, com a Europa, abraçarem la nostra pròpia capacitat econòmica, financera i militar. I serem nosaltres els que decidirem què passarà a Europa i a Ucraïna amb els Estats Units. això ha estat, vull reiterar, pagar per la nostra seguretat I això s'ha de corregir".

El cap de l'OTAN, Rutte, diu que no hi ha més remei que augmentar la despesa de defensa pel PIB a "al nord del 3%" perquè no hi ha més remei. En cas contrari, adverteix, d'aquí a quatre o cinc anys, l'OTAN simplement no podrà defensar el seu territori.

Swedish PM: There is information suggesting that at least one data cable between Sweden and Latvia has been damaged in the Baltic Sea. The cable is owned by a Latvian entity. I have been in close contact with my Latvian counterpart, Prime Minister Evika Siliņa, during the day. Sweden, Latvia and NATO are closely cooperating on the matter. Sweden will contribute with relevant capabilities to the effort to investigate the suspected incident.
