1 month agoEstonia has detained a tanker belonging to Russia's shadow fleet. The vessel was sailing under the flag of Djibouti, but it turned out that the tanker was not in any register. The Estonian Defense Forces have detained a tanker near the island of Aegna. The vessel KIWALA was used to transport crude oil and was heading to the Russian port of Ust-Luga, sailing along Estonian territorial waters. There were 24 people on board, including the captain, a Chinese citizen, and presumably Mauritanian citizens.
